Track Frequency

Postby towels » Fri Apr 24, 2009 8:30 am

I'm wondering if the settings are off a bit. When I looked at the recently played I see the Gears Behind the Ears tracks are running about 10x more than other tracks. I like hearing the little tidbits of Disney history, but I heard Dave talking about collecting on my way into work yesterday and then again at lunch. Is there a way to balance it?

Towels, I feel your pain!

You should notice them not playing as frequently.

We are constantly tweaking the settings to ensure the best quality of play.

We have updated the scripts controlling the file selection, and we think you will like the new mix.

Thanks for the feedback and for listening!

I wouldn't have categorized it as pain... but it seems much more even now!

Yay!

Oh wait, I thought of something that I would categorize as pain. The behind the scenes track where Eisner talks about disregarding what Walt Would Have Done because he didn't know Walt.

Surely there was some middle ground between the inaction after Walt's passing and Sleeping Beauty IV- Stitch's Revenge.

Yah that's always been a favorite of mine, when he says that.

It just makes you go

I don't want to come off as all nitpicky, but hopefully if it's a bug this helps you find it. This seemed a bit odd, so I looked at the play history for Rock Shock from Disneyland Paris.

yes we are tweaking the random generator, and other behind the curtain services. As we continue to tweak, you should not better mixes of tracks. :ugeek:

Mr. Gripesalot again.
The Disneyfied tracks seem to be running really heavy of late. Each of them has over 100 plays, and most of them are running twice a day on occassion. (When I looked this up, three of the five had no fastpass available, which should give you an idea of their frequency today)

There's really only so much "waah, Disney ruined my story" I need to hear in a week ya' know?
